Project: Smile is a non-profit organisation that commits to raise donations for COVID-19 relief efforts in Indonesia especially the underprivileged through virtual photoshoots. I lead the design team to establish the digital identity of the organisation and assisted in website development.

About Project: Smile
Project: Smile is based on the idea of spreading positivity to those in need. With current health and safety conditions, we came up with the idea to conduct virtual photoshoots that are entirely donation based. All the donations collected from these virtual photoshoots will be used for a good cause. We started this project by helping COVID-19 victims in Indonesia by providing necessities and medical gear to first-responders through the smiles that we captured virtually. From there, we are determined to use this platform to continue assist those who are unfortunate.
Bright, Positive Visual
The design approach I took when developing the brand identity and website design of Project: Smile is to deliver a sense of happiness and create positive impact to the viewers amidst the difficult time that we are experiencing right now. I used a series of bright colours as primary and secondary colours to represent unity and diversity. Fluid shapes and lines are also introduced to foster the bright and playful feel of the brand.
What have been achieved?
We are incredibly fortunate to have multiple partners that have helped us throughout our journey. All of our partners share a common goal with us, which is to become an entity that provides resources to those who need it. Together with them, we have raised AUD $5,312.12 since June 2020 and successfully contributed to the implementation of water project in Nibaaf and Biau.
