One of the fractions that I came across in this project is finding an intuitive and simple way to digitalise SWMS (Safe Work Method Statement) form — a document that is used to help supervisors, workers and any other persons at the workplace to understand the requirements that have been established to carry out high-risk construction work in a safe and healthy manner. The SWMS form consists of detailed work activities that allow full analysis of the risk management process across the web and mobile application.

The solution proposed was to establish a valuable feature called 'SWMS Blocks' which enables users to pre-set details on their SWMS form. The intuitive and standard convention functions (editing, removing, drag to move) allow users to make connections easily to the SWMS forms they are used to. Each SWMS block can also be tagged individually to one or multiple services, increasing the productivity of form turnovers which will affect positively to the whole project management cycle.

SafetyPlus identifies the gap in the industry where the existing safety management platforms are not customisable and only fit for certain industries.

Safety Plus is a SaaS platform – specialising in safety management, connecting all the compliance management team from workers in the field to the executive team in the boardroom.

 

The main goal is to create an easily managed safety compliance system through automations and modular structure.

Who is it for?

SafetyPlus is built for organizations of all types and sizes, from sole traders to fortune 500 to improve their safety management procedures and general productivity.

How does it work?

The platform seamlessly connects all members of an organisation to form an interconnected ecosystem in job and safety management. Automations allow supervisors to easily manage and track the cycle of risk management, from analysing reported hazard and incidents, conducting risk assessment to assigning follow-up tasks to team members. When a task is assigned to team members, they will be able to see it on their calendars, do required actions such as completing the checklist, uploading a document or photo evidence. The relate-to features enable the users to cross-tag different projects, forms, actions, qualifications, and plant & equipments.
